The action Governor in the aftermath of the Atlas Cove bombing has warned M.E.N.D that:
The Lagos media might no longer be sympathetic
They might no longer provide succor & solace for the “agitators”.
What this might mean is that events in the Niger Delta were deliberately blown out of proportion to portray it as unsafe and illogical to live in and ensure that the attendant benefits of the petroleum economy, hospitality and real estate business relocate to Lagos due to our foolishness.
What can Fashola do?
Unleash Odua Peoples Congress (OPC) on Ajengunle where we have a concentration of Niger Delta people and its likely they will not achieve much as they are likely to meet armed resistance …Vintage OPC weapon will be AK47 while our people might reply with GPMGs(General Purpose Machine Guns).
The next option is for OPC to bomb oil installations in the region, we are used to it and our kids if not allowed to own them want to burn them all.
If the choice is to shoot on our streets, the children here will not even run but try and identify the weapons by their sounds.
But if we shoot on Victoria Island & Ikoyi, all the Oyibo go run scatter go Abuja and Lagos go just quite.
Ensure reduction of sensationalism whereby newspaper reports will now become factual not based on emails.
Appeal for the security agencies to be accountable in the protection of the ordinary Nigerian .
